“Trying to be happy without a sense of God’s presence is like trying to have a bright day without the sun.” -A W Tozer
God created us to need Him. We need His strength, His guidance & His patience. He warns us “not to grow weary in well doing” in Galatians 6:9. He gave us this reminder in scripture because He knew there would be times where life would have our faith under pressure. He gave us this scripture, so we would know that storms aren’t sent to break us but to strengthen us. He’s letting us know that even when we’re doing “well” or “what’s right”, that things can still get tough…But to continue.
He wants our faith to be unwavering and confident in His abilities. He’s a capable God, ya’ll. The end of verse 9 says “for in due season, we shall reap, if we faint not.”
In other words, hang in there! Don’t throw in the towel! God has a pay off in store for you that will make every storm, every valley traveled, every fallen tear and every moment your heart felt burdened worth it. Everything He does has purpose, so trust me, nothing is wasted…He’s going to use it all to bless you.
Love, Teaira.
